Graduate - Sustainability and Social Impact Partner
At InPost we hire awesome people who aren’t afraid to bring ideas to the table, to make mistakes, and challenge the norm!
Create positive change. Build your career. Make an impact from day one.
At InPost, we're transforming the way people send, collect and return parcels. But we're just as passionate about making a positive impact beyond logistics. We believe growth comes with responsibility. That means thinking about the impact we have on our customers, colleagues, communities and the environment and finding better ways to do things.
We Champion the Customer by thinking about the wider impact we have on our colleagues, communities and environment around us.
As one of the UK's fastest-growing businesses, we're looking for ambitious graduates who want to help shape a more sustainable future while building an exciting career.
This isn't a graduate programme where you'll spend months observing. From day one, you'll Own It, working on meaningful projects, collaborate with colleagues and partners and help turn sustainability ambitions into action.
Whether you're supporting circular economy projects, building charity partnerships or helping bring our sustainability story to life, you'll see the impact of your work every step of the way. You’ll be encouraged to Dare to Disrupt, challenge existing thinking and look for new ways to create positive change.
About the role:
As our Graduate Sustainability and Social Impacts Partner, you'll play a vital role in helping shape a more resilient future at InPost. Working alongside our Sustainability Manager, you'll be at the heart of projects that support our environmental ambitions and strengthen our social impact across the UK.
From your very first day, you'll contribute to meaningful initiatives that make a difference -not just within our business, but for our customers, communities and the environment. Championing the Customer means looking beyond the immediate project and understanding the difference our work can make for people and the planet.
This is a unique opportunity to develop practical experience in sustainability, project management, stakeholder engagement and brand communications while learning from experienced professionals who are passionate about driving change.
You'll be trusted with real responsibility, encouraged to bring fresh ideas and empowered to take ownership of projects that influence how sustainability is embedded across our business. You’ll have the opportunity to Own It from planning thorough to delivery and Make it Happen. Your work won't sit on the sidelines. It will contribute to initiatives that are recognised across the UK market and at Group level.
What you'll be doing:
Every day will bring something different. You'll be trusted to:
Support Sustainability and social impact projects from planning through to delivery aligned with the Group Social Engagement Policies.
Build strong relationships with partner, charities and community groups who share our ambition to create positive change.
Dare to Disrupt by delivering circular economy initiatives that reduce waste and create positive environmental impact.
Support the roll out of community programmes.
Coordinate InPost In-Help, our employee volunteering programme, helping colleagues support causes that matter to them. Helping colleagues come together to Make it Happen.
Work with Marketing and Brand teams to bring sustainability stories to life through engaging campaigns and communications.
Track project milestones, measure impact and prepare reports for senior stakeholders and Group teams.
Help deliver Sustainability Days and wider engagement initiatives across the business.
Continuously look for smarter ways to improve our projects, partnerships and ways of working.
What we need from you:
We're looking for someone who's curious, proactive and excited about creating positive change.
Enjoys taking ownership and making things happen.
Loves building relationships with a wide range of people.
Is organised and comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
Can adapt quickly when priorities change.
Thinks creatively and enjoy solving problems.
Is passionate about sustainability and social impact and wants to make a genuine impact.
Enjoys working independently while collaborating with others.
Brings energy, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn every day.
What you'll bring:
A minimum 2:1 degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Business, Marketing, Geography or another related discipline.
We welcome graduates from other disciplines too if you can demonstrate a genuine interest in sustainability and social impact.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisation and project management skills.
Confidence managing multiple priorities.
Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
A genuine passion for sustainability, social impact and continuous improvement.
We'd also love to see:
Knowledge of sustainability frameworks such as the Circular Economy or the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Experience creating communications, campaigns or storytelling around sustainability.
Experience volunteering or working with charities or community organisations.
Confidence presenting ideas to different audiences.
An interest in ESG, responsible business or sustainability reporting.
You don't need previous logistics experience to succeed at InPost. We're much more interested in your attitude than your background. Whether you've developed your skills through university projects, part-time work, volunteering, student societies or internships, we want to hear how you've taken ownership, solved problems and made a difference.
If you're passionate about sustainability, enjoy collaborating with people and want to help shape the future of a fast-growing business, you'll fit right in.
Why InPost?
