The InPost Newstrade division specialises in final-mile delivery for newspaper publishers and magazine distributors, covering 75% of the UK and Ireland with a 45% market share. Operating from 36 locations, it delivers almost 1bn newspapers, magazines, and collectibles to around 21,000 customers. The division includes core final-mile operations, magazine primary distribution, corporate distribution, outsourced retail consultancy, and airside media placement.

About the role:
Join the dynamic team at InPost Newstrade! We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to take the lead and make a real impact in our Coventry depot. You will oversee daily warehouse operations, coordinate teams, and ensure everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. 📍 Location: Unit 2, Imperial Park, Siskin Pkwy W, Coventry CV3 4PB
📅 Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday
🕒 Hours: Flexible start time / 8hr days
💰 Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
Deliver on the job training to all staff, ensuring they can perform their duties effectively, efficiently, and safely, providing clear direction and support where needed.
Plan, allocate, and manage team resources according to volume forecasts to optimise performance.
Actively champion and support positive culture change throughout the business.
Promote and engage in open, effective communication within your teams to drive collaboration.
Organise and oversee warehouse operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and cost effectiveness, aligned with KPIs, the Service Pledge, and Company guidelines.
Maintain high quality standards while achieving productivity and performance targets.
Motivate, coach, and develop your team in a continuous improvement environment, taking an engaged, hands-on approach at all times.
Ensure all staff complete the required Health & Safety training to perform their roles safely.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse and loading environment, in line with Company Policy and Health & Safety regulations.
Enforce adherence to safe systems of work at all times.
Identify, highlight, and manage risk assessments for staff, including return to work, maternity considerations, and any new tasks or machinery that require additional training.
Drive the team to meet customer deadlines and productivity targets, providing motivation and support to achieve goals.
Prepare and provide handover reports to Management as required.

Physically fit and active, capable of standing, walking, and moving around the warehouse for extended periods.
Flexible and adaptable, ready to work in line with peak periods, fluctuating volumes, and changing operational needs.
Thrives under pressure, able to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to identify issues before they escalate.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
Proactive and hands on approach, able to take ownership of tasks and drive continuous improvement within the team.
Reliable and organised, ensuring that operational standards and company procedures are consistently met.
