The InPost Newstrade division specialises in final-mile delivery for newspaper publishers and magazine distributors, covering 75% of the UK and Ireland with a 45% market share. Operating from 36 locations, it delivers almost 1bn newspapers, magazines, and collectibles to around 21,000 customers. The division includes core final-mile operations, magazine primary distribution, corporate distribution, outsourced retail consultancy, and airside media placement.

As a pivotal figure on the warehouse floor, you won’t just manage a team you’ll inspire, motivate, and empower them to consistently deliver excellence. Your leadership will be key to exceeding productivity goals and ensuring smooth, high quality operations every night.
📍 Location: Unit 2 Imperial Park, Siskin Parkway West, Coventry CV3 4PB
📅 Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday
🕒 Hours: 06:00am - 14:30pm
💰 Salary: £32,278.22 per annum
What you’ll be doing:
Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated warehouse team, creating a positive, high-performance culture where individuals feel motivated and valued.
Collaborate closely with Warehouse Management to set ambitious targets, monitor performance, and ensure nightly operational goals are consistently met or exceeded.
Serve as the primary point of guidance for Warehouse Operatives, providing hands-on support, advice, and coaching to maintain smooth, efficient workflows.
Monitor daily operations to proactively identify bottlenecks or challenges, troubleshooting and implementing solutions quickly, escalating issues when necessary.
Champion exceptional quality standards, ensuring accuracy in stock handling, order fulfillment, and reporting, while strictly adhering to health and safety protocols.
Deliver structured, effective training programs to onboard new team members and upskill existing staff, helping everyone reach their full potential.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement, encouraging open communication and idea sharing across all levels of the warehouse.
Support seasonal peaks and high-demand periods by allocating resources effectively and maintaining team morale under pressure.
Act as a role model for company values, demonstrating professionalism, initiative, and dedication in all aspects of warehouse operations.
What we need from you:
Proven experience thriving in a fast paced, high volume warehouse environment, with a track record of meeting and exceeding operational targets.
Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality.
A practical, hands on approach to problem solving, able to quickly identify challenges and implement solutions to keep operations running smoothly.
Confident multitasker, capable of managing competing demands and tight deadlines without compromising standards or safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage, motivate, and lead your team, as well as collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and a proactive attitude, taking ownership of tasks and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Flexible and adaptable, ready to respond to changing priorities and operational needs in a dynamic warehouse setting.
