The InPost Newstrade division specialises in final-mile delivery for newspaper publishers and magazine distributors, covering 75% of the UK and Ireland with a 45% market share. Operating from 36 locations, it delivers almost 1bn newspapers, magazines, and collectibles to around 21,000 customers. The division includes core final-mile operations, magazine primary distribution, corporate distribution, outsourced retail consultancy, and airside media placement.

Are you looking for a role where your leadership truly makes a difference? At InPost Newstrade, one of the UK’s leading distribution brands, we’re seeking a motivated and driven Warehouse Supervisor to help shape performance and build a high performing team within our fast paced operation.
As a key leader on the warehouse floor, you’ll do more than manage day to day activity you’ll lead by example, inspire your team, and create a positive, results driven culture. Your influence will be central to achieving productivity targets, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations throughout the night shift.
📍 Location: Unit C Larkfield Industrial Estate, New Hythe Lane, Aylesford, ME20 6SW
📅 Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday
🕒 Hours: 10:00am - 21:00pm
💰 Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
Lead and inspire a dedicated Magazine Packing team, driving performance and fostering a positive, results focused culture throughout the day shift.
Collaborate closely with Warehouse Management to ensure packing targets are consistently met and exceeded during daily operations.
Serve as the first point of contact for Packing Operatives, providing hands on guidance and support to maintain an efficient and accurate workflow.
Proactively identify and resolve operational issues within the packing process, escalating where necessary to keep operations running smoothly.
Champion quality control standards, ensuring all magazine packs are assembled accurately and in line with company procedures.
Promote and enforce health and safety compliance, setting the standard for safe working practices across the day shift.
Deliver effective on the job training and coaching, equipping team members with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed.
What we need from you:
Proven experience leading and motivating a warehouse or packing team, ideally within a fast paced day shift environment, with a strong track record of delivering results.
Strong organisational and problem solving skills, able to identify issues quickly and take decisive action to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support, guide, and engage team members throughout the day.
A commitment to quality, accuracy, and health & safety standards in a warehouse setting, ensuring safe and efficient day to day operations.
Ability to train and coach team members, helping them develop their skills and succeed within the team.
