About the role:
Depot Operations Support - InPost Distribution Cullompton depot.
Are you ready to be at the heart of a fast-paced, dynamic parcel operation? Join InPost Distribution as a Depot Operations Support team member and play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily parcel activities, exceptional customer care, and seamless administration in our bustling Cullompton depot!
📍 Location: Units C1-C3 Longbridge Meadow Ind. Est. Cullompton EX15 1BT
📅 Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday
🕒 Hours: 09:00am - 17:30pm
💰 Salary: £26,110.87 per annum
What you’ll be doing:
- Support customers and colleagues across shifts, handling queries via face-to-face, phone, email, and digital systems.
- Manage customer enquiries, courier set up and payments, and live delivery monitoring to keep parcels on time.
- Assist with damage control, repacking, and resolving logistical issues.
- Handle key admin tasks such as customer reception, claims processing, onboarding support, and internal communications.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.
- Collaborate closely with the depot and management team to escalate and resolve issues.
What we need from you:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers, drivers, and colleagues.
- Technical Proficiency: Good level of Microsoft Office knowledge, with advanced skills in word processing that allow you to produce professional documents.
- Customer Service Excellence: A genuine passion for customer service, always aiming to deliver positive experiences and build strong relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving warehouse environment, multitasking with energy and precision.
- A proactive, “can-do” mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
